Aladdins uses low moisture hot water extraction powered by a Truck Mounted Machine (no portable units) when cleaning your carpets. Hot water extraction, also known as “steam cleaning” is a term used to describe a method that involves spraying a hot water solution at high pressure onto the carpet and simultaneously sucking out the water and dirt that comes up from the carpet fibers. Steam cleaning extraction provides all the benefits of hot water extraction, but uses much less water, which saves you even more money!

Carpet Repairs & Spot Dyeing
Any spot that is lighter than the color of the carpet indicates that the color has been removed from the carpet. This situation cannot be fixed with any “cleaning” technique, it requires that we put the missing dye back in.
Example: A brown carpet (which is actually Red, Yellow a nd Blue) that has a yellow spot is actually missing the Red and Blue dye.
Re-Dyeing this spot is usually the best and least expensive option,. Unfortunately re-dyeing doesn’t always work.
Common Problems With Spot Dyeing Carpet
1. The carpet fibers are so destroyed that they won’t accept the new dye.
2. The bleach cannot be neutralized and it bleaches out the new dye.
3. The carpet color cannot be matched perfectly, so the larger the spot, the more visible the imperfection.
In cases where spot dyeing carpet is not a viable solution, the only other option is patching or re-tufting.
Cut and Patch Work
Carpet Repair: Patching or Re-Tufting requires that we have a spare or donor piece of carpet. Where this is not available, perhaps we can take a small piece from a closet. The spot or in some cases just the effected tufts are cut out and replace with the donor piece. This may be noticeable, especially where we are inserting a new donor piece into a worn area. Usually, if we remove just the tufts, it will blend back in well.
Pet Stain Removal
There are several ways to treat pet odor depending on its severity. When treating minor odor our regular cleaning process may be all that you need. In more severe cases where the urine has soaked into the padding we take a more in depth approach.
When the urine has reached the padding, we saturate the spot with an oxidizing and deodorizing agent. We use this procedure so that cleaning agent reaches thoroughly into the pad. We then extract the urine using our turbo extractor. This process will reduce the odor significantly, but may not completely remove the odor in more severe cases.
When there is a major problem with pet urine and the pet is no longer living in the home, the padding should be removed In this case of major pet urine problems the carpets should be treated on both sides and the sub floor treated as well. This procedure should eliminate the pet problem. In most cases minor treatment should work eliminate the problem.

Your best chance for removing a stain is as quickly as possible after the spot is made. The longer a spot sits on your carpet or upholstery, the harder it is to remove. Though many stains can be removed, some require advanced technical skill and expert cleaning solutions.
